Economics Essay Competition 2015
The School of Economics, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia campus, is organising an Economics essay competition.
The topic of the essay competition is: “Has openness to international trade and investment benefited or harmed the Malaysian economy? How can Malaysia ensure that it reaps more benefits than harms from international trade and investment in the future?”
The topic of the essay competition is: “Has openness to international trade and investment benefited or harmed the Malaysian economy? How can Malaysia ensure that it reaps more benefits than harms from international trade and investment in the future?”
The essay competition is open to all pre-university and high school students in Malaysia. The following prizes will be awarded:
First prize: RM 1,000Second prize: RM 800Third prize: RM 6003 consolation prizes: RM350 each
The closing date is 28 May 2015, Thursday.

RESULTS
School of Economics is pleased to announce the winners of the Nottingham Economics Essay Competition 2015. The judging panel has decided to award the following prizes:
- First prize: Melissa Liang Pei Yun (Institute of Science and Management, Sabah, A level) essay
- Second prize: Wong Huey Teng and Shalini Samudri A/P Ananda Rao (joint author, Methodist College Kuala Lumpur, A level) essay
- Third prize: Edward Chai Chuan Jun and Li Zhe Lai (joint author, Marlborough College, Johor, International Baccaleaurate) essay
