The school is pleased to announce that Christina Amanda Yin Chueh Ping has passed her PhD viva voce examination. 



Her thesis, “Creative Nonfiction: True Stories of People involved in Fifty Years of Conservation of the Orang-utan in Sarawak, Malaysia”, was supervised by Professor Malachi Edwin Vethamani and Professor Danton Remoto. The Internal Examiner was Dr Shivani Sivagurunathan from the School of English, the External Examiner was Associate Professor Dr Noraini Md Yusof from the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and the Chair was Dr Thomas Barker.
