The school is pleased to announce that Olaoluwa Duro-Bello has passed his PhD viva voce examination held on 30 March 2021. 



His thesis, “A Critical Discourse Analysis of the Representation of Boko Haram in Nigerian Presidential Speeches”, was supervised by Dr Derek Irwin and Dr Melissa Yoong. The Internal Examiner was Professor Zaharom Nain from the School of Media, Languages and Cultures (SMLC), the External Examiner was Associate Professor Dr Annabelle Lukin from the Department of Linguistics, Macquarie 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ and the Chair was Dr Mohammad Safaei.
