Three Minute Thesis (3MT?) is an academic research communication competition developed by The 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Queensland, Australia. The challenge is for doctoral researchers to explain the complexity and relevance of their research to a non-specialist audience in a concise and engaging way. The competition got even more challenging this year when it was moved online due to C0VID-19 pandemic. This temporary move to a virtual setting allowed 10 of our doctoral researchers to present their research in just 3 minutes to a panel of judges in our 3MT? Live! which took place entirely online using Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 24 June 2020. The Winner and Runner Up were selected by a panel of judges drawn from academic and professional services while the People's Choice was voted by our campus-wide community. The Winner will now progress to the video round to compete against the other Nottingham campuses. The overall winner will represent the entire 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham at the Universitas 21 (U21) Final, also via video, which will be judged by an international panel of industry and academic professionals. |
