Meeting with Prof Andy
The Head of School of Education, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham, UK campus, Prof Andy Noyes and Associate Head of School, Prof Andy Townsend visited UNMC from 27 September to 29 September 2016 for a series of meetings with colleagues here.
Prof Noyes took the opportunity to meet the staff of the newly-established Centre for English Language and Foundation Education (CELFE), School of Education. The meeting was chaired by CELFE director Dr Sivabala Naidu.
During the meeting the various academic programme directors gave an overview of the academic programmes and in-sessional courses that are managed by the centre. This was followed by discussions on the different models of operation of the FASS foundation programmes across the three Nottingham campuses i.e. Malaysia, China and UK.
The meeting concluded with a firm decision by Prof Noyes to provide avenues for tri-campus meetings in the near future which will, hopefully, lead to collaborative work between staff across the three campuses.
