Biography

I obtained my Ph.D degree in Biological Sciences from the National 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Singapore. After graduation I did my post-doctoral training in Singapore, United States and United Kingdom prior to joining Division of Biomedical Science at the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia as Assistant Professor. My research interests have been trying to understand the role(s) of mitochondrial function and oxidative stress in cardiovascular pathophysiology. I am well-trained in biochemical techniques and specialized surgical procedures in rodents. I welcome research collaborations related to obesity, diabetes, hypertension and vascular biology. Besides, I am interested to understand the biological functions of metal oxide nanoparticles.
