Biography

Dr. Nabil El Ioini joined the School of Computer Science, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham, Malaysia as an Associate Professor. Previously, Nabil was an assistant professor at the Software and Systems Engineering 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ Group (SwSE), at the Free 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy. His research interests lie in the area of software engineering, cloud computing quality assessment, and software security. Currently, he is working on the design of conceptual architectures for managing Edge computing and IoT components. He is particularly focusing on designing architectural patterns that address Edge computing requirements in terms of scalability, orchestration, security, and privacy using some of the mainstream technologies such as container and blockchain technologies.
