Recalls
What happens when one of my loans has been recalled?
The auto-renewal stopped. An Item due notice will be sent to the patron, allowing a maximum of six days to return the book. Please return the item(s) by the due date.
Why does the library have a Recall policy?
This to ensure reasonable access to the library's collection for all users.
How can I recall a book?
You can make request for any ordinary loan book already on loan. For more details, click on Reservations.
How much fine will be charged if I return a recalled item late?
You will be charged RM1 per day.
Where do I return the recall item?
You have to return the recalled item back to the library. You also can return it at the Kuala Lumpur Teaching Centre (KLTC) at Chulan Tower.
