Internal membership
Students:
All students automatically become a member of the library when they receive their 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ student ID card.
Staff:
All members of staff (academic and non-academic) in the university’s become a member of the library when they receive their 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ staff ID card and register their account with the library.
Membership to the library entitles you to:
- borrow from the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@'s library
- use library facilities
- request for interlibrary loans
External Membership
Associate:
Please refer to the school or department that you are affiliated with to open an associate member account.
Alumni:
To join the library under external borrowers--alumni, members of the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ Alumni Association must:
- Bring a letter from the Student Registry to the library to ascertain that you are a member of the Alumni Association.
- Complete a Library-Services-Alumni-Membership form (one passport size photograph needed)
- Pay RM150 for an annual membership fee.
- Go to the Security Office at the Student Association Building (Block H) to process and collect your alumni ID card.
Alumni members are entitled to:
- borrow a maximum of four books at any one time
- use online facilities to access their library account and to reserve books
- photocopy facilities (payment upon use)
- interlibrary loan services (for each item requested, you will be have to pay the full amount charged by the document supplier plus a library administrative fee)
- refer to theses, dissertations, and final-year-project papers
- access selected online resources

Members of the public who would like to visit our library must bring an official letter from their place of employment or college/university that they are studying at, stating the purpose and duration of their visit. 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ors will only have access to the library collection on open shelves.
