Alumni Sharing
The Alumni Sharing Session has always been a popular event among our final year students. Work-life 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ and post-graduation careers advice and personal experience was shared with students.
The Alumni Sharing Session included Waris Khan, an analyst on global banking from Maybank Investment Bank, Dr Ting Kang Nee, Head of Department of Biomedical Sciences, and Deepakumari Veerasingam, Head of Graduate School and MyMentor Programme at UNMC.
Waris shared his analysis on managing time,Dr Ting Kang Nee spoke on the importance of 'giving' through the concept of ‘New Age Living’ andDeepakumari highlighted the importance of preparing for a career path.
The students had a wonderful understanding of learning through real life experience. The next Session will be organised in October in collaboration with the Graduate School at UNMC.

International Graduate’s Pre-departure Workshop
The workshop is organised annually to provide graduates with information on the employability of home countries, services and benefits offered by ADRO in Malaysia, and its connection to campuses in United Kingdom and China.
The event provided an avenue to collate relevant information on graduate’s areas of interest and discuss ADRO’s support. Graduates were also given detailed information on why and how they can remain connected with the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham after graduation.

MBA Alumni Reunion Party 2016
MBA alumni are known as one of the most active alumni community within the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham.
Every reunion is a memorable event both for alumni and ADRO because of the enthusiasm and Nottingham spirit of the alumni.
The MBA reunion on 7th May 2016 was hosted by Professor Christine Ennew, the Provost and Chief Executive Officer of UNMC, in Bangsar. The reunion started with a high tea pool party followed by dinner at a cosy restaurant in the City centre.
The alumni were welcomed by the Provost and Dr. Avvari Visveswara Mohan, Deputy Dean of School of Business. It was a memorable occasion, with alumni sharing memories of their time at UNMC.

The Inaugural Benefactors’ Evening
The Inaugural Benefactors Evening was held on 9 May 2016 to raise funds for the pathways programme, to raise aspirations and provide education opportunities for local communities. The evening was hosted by Prof. Christine Ennew at the Glasshouse, Seputeh for the UNMC Foundation and was attended by friends of the university and alumni.
The UNMC Foundation was the brainchild of our Provost, Prof. Christine Ennew in her passion to provide education opportunities to those from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as to enhance the quality of life of the community around us.
The UNMC is funding the education of two students from the indigenous Penan, Wanna and Amelia, in Sarawak. The two students shared their story of how education of the indigenous communities is very often overlooked in society’s fast paced growth and progress. Now Wanna and Amelia will be pioneers from their remote village in Borneo who is pursuing a university education.
It was an insightful and fun filled evening where guests were served with a three course dinner, treated to accompanying live music and took part in a charity auction, with time for sharing knowledge and expertise from successful alumni!
Since the Inaugural Benefactors Evening, kind contributors are still coming forward to support the initiatives of the foundation, recognising the far reaching impact of our work in our community and nation as a whole.
