The school is pleased to announce that Simon John Williams has passed his PhD viva voce examination held on 24 June 2020. 



His thesis, “The Role of Schooling for Refugees in Protracted Situations in Malaysia: Protection, Imagined Communities and Acculturation”, was supervised by Professor Ganakumaran Subramaniam and Dr Lucy Bailey. The Internal Examiner was Dr Alberto Luis August from School of Education, the External Examiner was Professor Nasir Uddin from Department of Anthropology, 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Chittagong, Bangladesh and the Chair was Dr Michael Hall.
