Biography

Tze Peng is currently Associate Professor in Special and Inclusive Education. Originally trained as a speech-language therapist, she is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in the classroom and family-centred interventions, through evidence-based intervention strategies. Her research interests are:

  • Literacy acquisition in bi/multilingual contexts
  • Early language and family-centred intervention
  • Child language acquisition and disorders, especially developmental pragmatics and early pragmatic difficulties
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Inclusive education
