Seven alumni of the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham Malaysia were recently announced as the winners of the Vice Chancellor Medal 2020.

The seven individuals were Nadia Nadine Mohamad Shaharul, Fatima Tayeb, Aiman Aqil Asri Afendi, Ankita Saigal, Mohammad Uqail bin Esa @ Mohamed Eddieham, Hawwa Nusaiba Mohamed and Sara Sidiqqi, who graduated from the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ in July 2020.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Medal 2020 is awarded to students and staff for their excellent achievement. Any student or staff across the three campuses in the UK, China or Malaysia can be nominated as long as they meet the required criteria.

The winners should have achieved exceptional achievement in any arena; contributed to the advancing of equality, diversity and inclusion in 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ life; have carried out notable endeavours that have made a difference to the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@; have made a substantive contribution that has enhanced the reputation of the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ of Nottingham; were involved in an activity that positively impacted the students, staff or local community; or an individual achievement or sustained achievement over a period of time.

The other student winners this year were Hasan Al-Akraa Mohamad, Geerthanaa Santhiran, Muhammad Rehhahn Daniel Tudball, Yap Jing Ying, Apurav Krishna Koyande, Chia Shir Reen, Omar Ashraf El Far, Wong Xin Yi, Amirah Qistina Binti Hazrin, Yew Guo Yong, Denesh Sooriamoorthy and Bernice Han Ziao En.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shearer West congratulated each of this year’s winners:
