LinkedIn is a powerful platform for information gathering, job search as well as offering you an opportunity to be noticed early by recruiters even when you are still studying.
Aims and objectives
This module aims to help students develop a professional LinkedIn for the purpose of effective job search.
The compulsory workshop runs as part of this module aim to support students in developing an appreciation of the value of having professional LinkedIn profile and the importance of continually improving their profile throughout their careers.
Requirements

Open to Penultimate* and Final Years** students only.

Students are required to attend the following compulsory workshops as follow :
- Workshop 1 – Introduction to LinkedIn (17th Oct 2024 |1630 -1830 GMT+8 | TBC)
- Workshop 2 – Building a professional LinkedIn profile (24th Oct 2024 | 1630-1830 GMT+8 | TBC)
- Workshop 3 – LinkedIn as a Career Planning Tool and Guest Speaker (7th Nov 2024 | 1630-1830 GMT+8 | TBC)
We would advise interested applicants to check your timetable before registering for this NAA module. (Please take note that the workshop date might be rescheduled if needed)

Students are required to complete two LinkedIn assignments to pass this module.
*Penultimate – Year 2 and Year 3 (MEng/BPharm)
**Final Years – Year 3 and Year 4 (MEng/BPharm)
