Nottingham tri-campus dinner in Sri Lanka

Earlier this summer, we brought together alumni from all three of the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@’s international campuses for a memorable evening at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

Helping to build beneficial alumni relationships across the campuses, the evening began with a walk down memory lane as alumni reminisced and shared their experiences, before culminating in an update about the 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@’s latest additions and future plans. 

The event also focused on increasing the employment opportunities for Nottingham graduates in Sri Lanka. Members of the Careers Service’s Global Employability team attended the evening to provide advice and help graduates to find internship and employment opportunities in Sri Lanka. This is an important initiative in the country, following the civil war, as graduates return home to help the nation rebuild. In addition, the International Office brought along a group of new students to the event to get to know alumni from their country, helping to build networking relationships.

Our tri campus dinner in Sri Lanka provided an opportunity to support young people studying or recent graduates from Nottingham to pool their resources and network to help their country’s growth. 

The event stirred many emotional connections between alumni and their 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@. Many alumni have requested for events such as this to be organised annually so they can stay connected with Nottingham.
