Extenuating circumstances
If you miss some form of assessment or believe an assessment was affected by extenuating circumstances then you must complete an Extenuating Circumstances Form and upload via MyNottingham as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after having missed the assessment.
All forms must be accompanied by relevant documentary evidence. If you miss an examination, you should contact the School Examinations Office at the earliest possible opportunity and you will subsequently need to fill in an extenuating circumstances form which is found within the relevant section of the quality manual.
To supplement the extenuating circumstances form evidence is needed. This could be:
- a medical certificate
- a letter from appropriate medical professional
- a letter from 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ Wellbeing Services
- a written statement about a crime, supported by written evidence from the police
