Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be written in clear English (UK).
Please enter the title and the body of your abstract in the submission form
All late-breaking abstracts should be submitted through Microsoft CMT by 11:59PM, 30 April 2025 (+8 GMT).
Abstracts should be written with the information as follows:
Title |
Abstract title should be less than 30 words and be in Title Case, in bold font. e.g. “Effects of Treatment X on Cancer”. |
Author |
Author’s name must be written in full. List any institutional affiliation, state, and country. |
Abstract Body |
Abstracts should not exceed 300 words |

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
Authors should avoid submitting a title or an abstract that has been previously published in a journal or presented at another conference. If the work has been presented before, authors are encouraged to include new data or insights. All submissions should be original.
By submitting your abstract, you agree to grant permission for the ICRS 2025 Organising Committee to publish your abstract in our proceedings.

Click on Register.
Enter your details in the registration page.
Check your e-mail for an activation link and click on it to verify your account.
Return to our Microsoft CMT page and log in.
How to submit on Microsoft CMT
Go to our Microsoft CMT page: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICRS2025
Register for an account or log in if you have an existing account.
Click “Create new submission” and choose “Poster and Oral Presenters”.
Fill up the submission form:
Enter your abstract title and the body of your abstract in the empty fields.
Select subject areas relevant to your work.
Upload your full abstract (with authors, affiliations, etc.) in word document format.
Specify whether you are requesting to present as oral or poster presenter.
After you submit the form, you will be prompted to specify any conflicts of interest. You may proceed and click “Done” on the bottom left of the screen.
Upon receiving your abstract acceptance notification, you may upload your presentation slides or poster under the “supplementary material” section.
Note: The supplementary material section will only be visible after you have submitted your abstract.
Oral Presentation Award
Prize: RM500
Eligibility: The Best Abstract Award recognises outstanding research abstracts submitted by registrants opting for oral presentation. Awardees will deliver oral presentations during the event.
Selection criteria: The 3 best abstracts from each of the 4 symposium themes will be awarded. Abstracts will be evaluated based on relevance to the conference theme, impact and innovation of the research, clarity and scientific rigor, and potential for an engaging presentation.
Total Number of Awards: 12
Young Investigator Award
Prize: RM500 x3, RM 350 x3, RM 250 x3
Eligibility: Early career researchers within 3 years of PhD completion or pathology training.
Selection criteria: The Young Investigator Award recognizes outstanding early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional promise and achievement in their field. Candidates will be evaluated based on their Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Travel Grant Awards
Prize: RM450 or USD100
Eligibility: 188体育网址_188体育在线-【唯一授权网站】@ers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) in Asia, as defined by the World Bank.

Selection criteria: Eligible applicants who are not selected for the above awards will be automatically considered for the Travel Grant Award based on the evaluation of their submitted abstracts.

The ICRS 2025 Scientific Programme Committee will carefully review all submissions and select the best abstracts for recognition. Check below for the eligibility criteria:
General Criteria:
Only abstracts submitted by the submission deadline will be considered.
Presenters must complete their registration and attend the symposium on-site to be eligible.
The ICRS 2025 Scientific Committee will review all submissions and notify awardees via email.
Applicants can apply for multiple award categories based on eligibility, but only one award will be granted per person.
Only one award will be granted per applicant, even if multiple abstracts are submitted.
Students who choose to register through the Student Ambassador Program will not be eligible for selection for the Oral Presentation Award or Travel Grant Awards. This policy ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all participants, as the Student Ambassador Program offers its own distinct benefits and support. We encourage students to carefully consider their options before registering.
Work that has been previously published or presented elsewhere may be submitted, but the information must be provided as to where the work was presented or published.
Work that has already been published or presented elsewhere will not be eligible for any awards.
Awardees will be notified before the symposium. The decision of the ICRS 2025 Scientific Committee is final.
Awards will only be granted to the presenter specified in the abstract (corresponding authors or co-authors are not eligible). Awardees must submit a valid form of ID (e.g., Malaysian IC or passport).
If any documentation or information is found to be false, the award will be revoked.
Awards may be revoked if the content of the selected abstract is deemed inadequate or problematic.
