School of Languages
At the School of Languages, we offer various language modules and academic support programmes to enhance degree programmes at multiple universities.
Pre-sessional English
We also conduct courses tailored specifically for students holding Conditional Offer Letters. These courses serve as a launchpad to success, equipping participants with the academic prowess and language finesse needed to thrive in undergraduate or postgraduate studies and excel in any external English tests.
In-sessional English
We provide essential English language support through specialised modules and workshops, either incorporated within an academic programme or as free-standing modules aimed at improving academic writing, reading comprehension, listening, and speaking skills essential for success at university and beyond. These sessions cater to the needs of students across different academic levels and disciplines.
World Languages Modules
We currently offer foreign language modules in French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin, providing students with the opportunity to develop new linguistic skills and broaden their cultural understanding. These modules are integrated into a degree programme and cater to students in both faculties at UNM.
